Machine Operator (Shake Table) - $13.00/HOUR

A company in Santa Teresa, NM needs a Shake Table Operator. The

Shaker Table Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of vibrational separation equipment used to sort processed materials based on density and size. This role is critical for ensuring final product quality meets ISRI and company standards while maximizing material recovery and throughput.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Machine Operation:
Safely operate the shaker table and associated in-feed/out-feed conveyors. Monitor material flow to ensure consistent feed rates and prevent jams or overloading.

• Quality Control:
Continuously visually inspect the output streams (heavy fraction vs. lights/tails). Adjust machine settings (e.g., vibration frequency, deck tilt, air/water flow) in real-time to optimize separation efficiency and meet quality specifications.

• Safety & Compliance:
Ensure all work is carry out following safety rules, procedures, and wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Perform job functions adhering to policies and procedures.

Skill Set & Qualifications:

•

Required:

o Previous experience operating industrial machinery or processing equipment.

o Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand tools for minor adjustments.

o High attention to detail to monitor product quality continuously.

• Preferred:

o Knowledge of scrap material recycling processes and separation techniques.

o Forklift operator’s license (often helpful for moving collection bins around the machine).
