tk accelis Materials Plus is seeking a Brake Press Operator to join our Santa Teresa team on 2nd shift. In this role, you will safely set up and operate brake press equipment to fabricate metal products according to customer specifications while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

• Set up, operate, and adjust brake press equipment to bend and form metal components.
• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and production specifications.
• Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
• Use measuring tools to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and housekeeping.
• Safely operate forklifts, cranes, and other material handling equipment as needed.
• Complete production and quality documentation accurately.
• Identify and report quality, equipment, or safety concerns.
• Support Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a safe and organized work environment.

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1-2 years of brake press, machine operation, or metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to read work instructions and perform basic math calculations.
• Experience using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

• Previous brake press experience in a metal fabrication environment.
• Forklift experience or certification.
• Metals industry experience.
• Basic computer skills.
