American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a rural critical access hospital's LDRP unit, requiring 2+ years of experience and NM or compact RN licensure.

• Rural critical access hospital with an LDRP unit
• Unit includes 4 LDRP rooms, 1 triage room, and a well baby nursery
• Cerner EMR used for charting
• Day shift schedule with alternating 36/48 hour weeks on a 7 ON/7 OFF rotation
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call responsibilities
• Mandatory task floating required within hospital or to an affiliate hospital for closed departments
• Patient ratio of 1:1

• Active RN license (NM or compact) required
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate certifications preferred
• Cerner EMR charting experience required
• Two professional references required

• Provide nursing care within an LDRP unit including triage and well baby nursery services
• Floating assignments follow client policies and Joint Commission standards
• Expect to work some holidays with no RTO approved around holiday periods
• All RTO must be submitted with initial application; requests made afterward will not be considered
• Local candidates within 100 miles of the facility are not accepted
• Previous travelers are welcome to reapply; permanent staff seeking to travel require facility approval
