A leading healthcare facility located in Shiprock, NM, dedicated to providing exceptional care to women of all ages is currently seeking a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team on a 26-week contract basis. Their Women's Health department focuses on delivering comprehensive services tailored to meet the unique needs of women across their lifespan.
Responsibilities- Provide compassionate and evidence-based nursing care to women across the lifespan, including prenatal, postpartum, and gynecological care.
- Perform assessments, screenings, and examinations to identify health needs and risks specific to women's health.
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by healthcare providers.
- Educate patients on various aspects of women's health, including prenatal care, family planning, and preventive screenings.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the Federal Health Charting System.
- Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in women's health nursing
- Proficiency in Federal Health Charting System preferred
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
