Join to apply for the Lift Operator role at Angel Fire Resort

Join the Lift Operations department and play a very important role in running the winter mountain operations. Lift operators are responsible for ensuring guests load and unload the lift successfully and that all lift protocol is followed. The successful applicant will be ready to assist guests through the lift process, will work well in a busy environment, and will be prepared to work in winter weather conditions.

Operators must have excellent customer service skills and must be able to work on a team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Safely operate the chair lift and surface lift, following all protocol and procedures
  • Help guests load and unload the lift, which often includes assisting children and first-time riders
  • Direct ski traffic, scan tickets, setup and maintain lift lines
  • Follow radio protocol/procedures when communicating over the radio
  • Maintain the ramps
  • Assist with customer questions and concerns in a professional and helpful manner
  • Work well on a team in a busy environment
  • Complete daily tasks as assigned by Lift Supervisors
