Conservation Corps New Mexico (CCNM) is seeking an Ameri Corps member for the 2027 Wildland Fire Mitigation & Chainsaw Assistant Crew Leader position based in Las Cruces, NM. The project focuses on forest management, fire mitigation, and prescribed burns in coordination with the Gila National Forest. The term runs 01/18/2027–05/07/2027, with a 450-hour Ameri Corps slot.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens/nationals or permanent residents, be at least 17, and have a high school diploma or equivalent,
