. Urenco USA (UUSA) is seeking individuals to work on-site in Eunice, NM, with relocation support available. This is a role within the Compliance group focused on implementing the Quality Assurance Program at Urenco USA.
- Interface with employees, managers at all levels, external vendors, and government agencies to implement and uphold the Quality Assurance Program.
- Perform functions related to ASME NQA-1 and ISO auditing as described in procedures; act as lead auditor as directed.
- Coordinate quality assurance activities with internal teams and external partners; generate audit reports, evaluations, and technical reports; communicate effectively across the organization and with suppliers/vendors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Certification or ability to certify as a NQA-1 Lead Auditor, QA Inspector, NDE Inspector
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of commensurate experience
OR
- Associate’s degree with 3-5 years of commensurate experience
OR
- 10 years of commensurate experience without a degree
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of commensurate work experience
- Strong written and oral communications
- Ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel (moderate to advanced), EHS software and SAP
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Broad knowledge of statistics and statistical process control
- Expertise in quality systems, auditing, and analytical methods
- Knowledge of inspection methods, techniques, and documentation
- NIAC database knowledge
- Up-to-date knowledge of NRC revisions to regulations and standards (e.g., 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, ASME NQA-1, 49 CFR, 10 CFR 71 Subpart H)
- Work Location: Urenco USA, Eunice, NM
- Emergency Response requirements are negotiable
- Work Schedule: Professional schedule with minimal night/weekend support; some nights/weekends and call-outs may be required
- Travel Required: Up to 20% as needed
- Security Clearance: Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and an L or Q level clearance required
- Work Environment: Radiological exposure expectations as applicable
- Perform ASME NQA-1 and ISO audits as lead auditor under general supervision
- Perform QC inspector duties per standards and procedures
- Generate audit reports, evaluations, and technical reports
- Communicate and collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization, including suppliers/vendors
- Possess knowledge to be certified as a Level II inspector in one or more areas

Urenco USA reviews plans to meet market and business requirements - Compensation starting at: $88,575 - $117,573 per year and up, dependent on candidate
