Vernon's Speakeasy Server

Vernon's Speakeasy is looking for a well-qualified fine dining server to work full or part-time during our evening hours of operation. A well-qualified server will possess, at the minimum:

• Adequate knowledge of fine dining service
• Adequate knowledge of fine wines
• Knowledge of cocktails, including craft cocktails
• Knowledge of scotch, bourbon, whiskey, tequila, rum, and vodka
• Knowledge of Vernon's Speakeasy menus
• Knowledge of food preparation, including meat temperatures
• Ability to communicate well with staff
• A pleasant, professional presence

We are looking for a reliable server who possesses the ability to learn menu items quickly, is outgoing, works well within the team, strives to improve, and is willing to help others without being asked to.

You must have some fine dining serving experience to be considered
. We will administer a test for your fine dining knowledge so please do not submit your application if you are not qualified.

A current alcohol certification is required for consideration.

Our hours of operation are Wednesday - Sunday and may expand during special events or the holiday season. Your typical work hours would be 3:30-11:30 but may be longer, depending on reservations.

Several staff members will interview you at different times and dates. We will only hire the best of the best.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Salary: $7.00 per hour plus tips
