We are leading the way in nuclear energy innovation. Our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Eunice, NM is one of the only uranium enrichment sites in North America. We are looking for individuals who are ready to work collaboratively on‑site in Eunice, NM and we provide relocation support.
Summary of Responsibilities
This position is responsible for supporting all security activities and programs for Urenco USA; it works in the area of compliance, and interfaces with employees and managers at all levels of the organization and externally with governmental agencies.
Education and Experience
High‑School Diploma/GED/HISET. The ideal candidate will have an associate degree, preferably in a security related field, and 5 to 7 years of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge and understanding of application regulatory security requirement compliance
- Security related experience in a regulatory environment such as the Department of Energy, Department of Safety, Department of Defense, etc.
- Certification in IT Security, Physical Security, ADC, etc.
- Experience processing DOE or DOD security clearances

- Work schedule:
Professional, with minimal night/weekend support; some nights and weekend work may be required. Employees are subject to call‑outs as needed. - Travel required:
20% of the time or less as required. - Security clearance requirement:

Primary Functions
- Supporting and performing the functions of Access Authorization, IT Security, Physical Security, or Information Security as described in the UUSA PSP, UUSA ISSPs, or UUSA SPPP.
- Providing or assisting in the delivery of security force training programs and internal security awareness programs such as OPSEC, Security Clearance, and Counter‑intelligence.
- Assisting in the handling of classified material, including logs, documents, inventory, and tracking classified materials.
- Assisting in the processing of site visitors, new employees, and contracted staffing new to site.
- Maintaining physical security programs, including locks, combinations, and keys.
- Supporting the site by processing needed procedure revisions, performing interdisciplinary reviews, photograph reviews, and visitor request processing.
- Completing Corrective Action Program (CAP) investigations and actions and supporting scheduling and status meetings.

Compensation:
Starting at $72,094 – $105,446 per year and up depending on candidate.
