Summary Of PositionThe Language School Coordinator will support tribal families and school districts across Santo Domingo, Albuquerque, Bernalillo, and Santa Fe. Under the supervision of the Language Manager, the incumbent will provide liaison services, advocate for tribal members facing academic barriers, assist the Language Manager, and collaborate closely with the Language Coordinator/Program Assistant and department staff.
Minimum Qualifications- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience working in a school setting.
- Must be proficient speaking and understanding the Kewa Keres Language.
- NM/Santo Domingo Pueblo’s Bilingual/Biliteracy Seal of Excellence certification is preferred.
- Must be willing to work extended hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays when required.
- Must pass a drug/alcohol, motor vehicle check, and a background and fingerprint check.
- Must be able to satisfactorily pass all required background checks required by each school district served.
Salary: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
