Driver Railroad Lead

Applicants must comply with the criteria stated in our Employee Handbook and Internal Promotion and Transfer policy, which states that candidates must not have active warnings, and they must have worked in their position/department for at least 12 months to be able to apply. Under specific circumstances, with Manager and HR approval, employees with less than 12 months in their current job will be eligible to apply for a new position.

• Maintain equipment and overall facility
• Oversee and schedule local employees
• Ensure that all location paperwork is submitted on a timely basis
• Assure that products are properly loaded and unloaded at customer location in a professional, courteous, timely, safe, and efficient manner
• Assure that delivery instructions, DOT compliance, company and customer safety and operational policies and procedures, are met by local employees
• Report to manager any operational problems
• Other related tasks as assigned by manager

• Minimum age 23
• Valid class A CDL
• Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements
• At least 2 years of bulk fuel hauling experience
• Valid DOT Medical Card
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and overtime
• Ability to meet all criteria for the eRailSafe program
• May be subject to comply with site specific drug testing requirements which may include hair follicle drug testing
• Safe driving record
• Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service

This position includes outdoor work in varying weather conditions and extended periods of driving, loading, and unloading products. Candidates should be comfortable working in a physically active environment while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Candidates should also be comfortable climbing steps to verify tank compartments and getting in and out of the tractor, multiple times a day.

This position is designated as safety sensitive. Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings, which may include a background check, drug and alcohol screening, and any other evaluations required by law or company policy.
