We are builds for a highly motivated Treatment Coordinator / Dental Receptionist to join our team in New Milford
. Candidates should have a strong work ethic, be a team player, and possess the ability to multitask.

Role Overview

The Treatment Coordinator acts as a liaison between the doctor and the patient. They gather information throughout the new patient experience, coordinate treatment plans with the doctor, and present them to patients. They are knowledgeable about treatment timelines, the doctor’s schedule, and are prepared to negotiate financial arrangements. The coordinator creates a calm, warm environment for patients who are anxious or concerned about affordability.

They also coordinate, as needed, with other offices involved in patient care to ensure referrals and correspondence are received and followed up.

Specific Responsibilities
  • Greet & check in patients
  • Handle a heavy phone volume
  • Schedule appointments for doctors & hygienists
  • Act as a liaison between patients & doctors
  • Enter patient treatment plans
  • Discuss treatment needs with patients & make financial arrangements
  • Estimate, collect, & post patient payments
  • Follow up on patients who need unscheduled treatment
  • General office duties (printing/faxing/computer data entry, etc.)

Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Dental reception experience
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Willingness to learn & grow
  • Reliable commute to New Milford, CT

  • Availability to work within current office hours, including shifts that may include up to two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month
Location Hours
  • Monday – Thursday: 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
  • 1st Saturday of the month: 7:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
