EMCOR Facilities Services (EFS), an EMCOR core business, services over 1 billion square feet of commercial space across the United States. • Installs and connects power supply wiring and conduit for lighting, general devices, newly installed machines and building equipment
• Troubleshoot and support production controls and automation components
• Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motor starters, MCC panels, MCC circuits, variable frequency drives and lighting fixtures and replaces damaged parts, broken wires, cables and connections
• Knowledge and responsibility to maintain the following electrical distribution equipment: 3 phase 4 wire 277/480 VAC, 3 Phase 4 wire 120/208 VAC, and single phase 3 wire 120/240 VAC
• Replaces faulty electronic components, such as printed circuit boards, relays, contractors, and control button
• Maintenance of building lighting, task lighting, parking lot lighting, lighting contractors, emergency lights/exit lights, 120 volt outlets, photoelectric eyes for exterior building lighting, and lighting contractors that are controlled by the energy management system
• Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings per the NEC
• Performs preventative maintenance on 480 volt or less, on all electrical utilities and equipment
• Responsible for accurate and timely paperwork related to essential duties and responsibilities
• Maintain, organize, cleans shop area and service van, including inventory control, tool maintenance and calibration of testing equipment
• Other duties as assigned

• Education:
  
  Successfully completed Apprenticeship Program. Must be 21 years old or older
• Business
  
  Experience:
  
  5 years’ related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Licenses/Certifications:
  
  Must possess applicable certifications, licenses and a valid driver's license
• Language
  
  Skills:
  
  Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

  Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

The ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders and ability to walk the facility throughout the day are required. Have the ability to regularly kneel repetitively during shift. Have the ability to move in a 90-degree fashion on a repetitive basis. Have the ability to work and maneuver on a variety of terrains. Have the ability to interact with all clients in a professional and friendly manner despite periods of stress.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. May be required to work in confined, restricted and hot areas. Work may be located inside or in outside environments.

Must be willing to work overtime when required. May be required to work holidays and weekends.
