Netley Court is a purpose‑built 65 bedded residential care home set in the heart of the village of Netley Abbey caring for dementia and residential residents.

We are looking for a Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coordinator to work on an ‘as and when’ basis to cover annual leave and ad‑hoc sickness. Rotas are planned in advance so you will be given notice of days/weeks to be worked.

The Wellbeing and Lifestyle Coordinator role is a hands‑on working role with responsibility for coordinating a successful activities and volunteer programme within the Cinnamon home. This includes internal and external communication about activities يتعلق programmes for our residents, to introduce appropriate activities for older people which support independence and to identify activities in the surrounding areas that will assist residents to integrate into the local community.

Responsibilities
  • Organise and conduct activities that encourage both social, mental and, where appropriate, physical stimulation for the residents within the home.
  • Help organise fund‑raising events.
  • Help organise special events such as Christmas entertainment, Ascot, Royal occasions, etc.
  • Help produce a monthly programme of events to be discussed with the General Manager of the home.
  • Encourage residents and team members to participate in the home’s activities programme.
  • Maintain posters and notice boards within the home.
