We are currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Lead to join a well-established care home in New Milton.
This is a great opportunity for an NMC Registered Nurse with strong clinical experience and previous leadership or team-leading experience to take the next step in their career.
The Role
Working closely with the Home Manager, you will provide clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams, ensuring residents receive safe, effective and person-centred care.
Your responsibilities will include:
Providing clinical leadership and support to the nursing and care teams.
Maintaining high standards of clinical care and governance.
Supporting, mentoring and developing nurses and care staff.
Making confident clinical decisions and managing situations calmly under pressure.
Completing and overseeing clinical audits, safeguarding and compliance checks.
Supporting care planning, risk assessments and medication management.
Ensuring care is delivered in line with CQC requirements and best practice.
Building positive relationships with residents, families and external healthcare professionals.
Supporting the Home Manager with the overall delivery of high-quality care.
About You
We are looking for someone who has:
Active NMC registration with relevant post-registration experience.
Previous experience leading a nursing or care team.
Strong clinical knowledge and confidence in making clinical decisions.
Good knowledge of CQC, safeguarding, DoLS and clinical audits.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
A genuine passion for delivering high-quality, person-centred nursing care.
The ability to support and mentor colleagues and encourage a positive team environment.
