The New Minas Dental Centre has been serving the community for over 25 years. Our Dentists, Dr. Peter Bagnell and Dr. Zahra Lahiji offer comprehensive dental services, from emergency treatment to complimentary orthodontic consultations for Invisalign.

- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures, ensuring a clean and safe environment.
- Assist dentists and hygienists during treatments,maintaining patient comfort and workflow.
- Take dental X-rays and digital images as required.
- Perform instrument sterilization and infection control following IPAC standards.
- Update patient charts and provide education on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.
- Support scheduling, patient flow, and administrative tasks.
- Collaborate with the dental team to deliver efficient, high-quality care.
- Follow all privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Establish strong patient relationships whilemaintainingethical professional behaviour.
- Registered and/or Certified as aDental Assistant with your Provincial regulatory body or associationisrequired.
- Previousdentalassistingexperience is preferred.
