Position: Join Annapolis Valley as Educational Assistant
Become an Educational Assistant at Annapolis Valley Regional Centre for Education in New Minas for the  school year. Support students' personal care and behavior management in a nurturing environment.

This role requires collaborative support in meeting the medical, personal, and educational needs of students. As an Educational Assistant, you will engage in personal care, safety management, and establish rapport with students. A commitment to inclusivity is paramount during this school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with physical and mobility challenges

• Support behavior management under teacher guidance

• Provide transportation for students when needed

• Supervise students during breaks and in designated areas

• Record observations and data as directed

Requirements:

• Human Services diploma or equivalent training

• CPR and First Aid certification required

• Ability to lift and provide physical assistance

• Specific healthcare training as needed

• Effective communication in assistive technologies

Support student development through compassionate care and behavior management as part of the Annapolis Valley team.
