Job Title: Geography Teacher

Salary: £168‑£232 per day

Teacher Active is working with a well‑known mainstream secondary school in the Ollerton area, Nottinghamshire. The school has high aspirations and offers fantastic support to all of its staff.

• Teach Geography across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including GCSE preparation.
• Deliver some Key Stage 3 English lessons.
• Support students to achieve excellent results while following and implementing the schemes of learning.

• Graduate with Qualified Teacher Status.
• Qualified teacher in Geography with a strong teaching record.
• Relevant qualifications (formal or via suitable experience) to meet the challenge of the appointment.
• Excellent in‑depth knowledge of the Geography curriculum and its place within the wider curriculum.
• Understanding of the importance of a rigorous reading strategy to ensure students confidence and reading fluency.
