Teacher Active is proud to be working with a secondary school in Ollerton that is looking to appoint an SEMH Teaching Assistant. The school is seeking a supportive and committed individual who can help students engage positively with their education and school environment.
The school is looking to take on an SEMH Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis, starting ASAP. The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will provide 1 to 1 and small group support to secondary-aged students, helping them manage their SEMH needs, engage with learning and make positive progress.
The successful SEMH Teaching Assistant will have:- Experience supporting secondary-aged students with SEMH or additional needs
- Experience providing 1 to 1 and small group support
- A confident and proactive approach to supporting young people
- Excellent communication skills
- Patience, resilience and adaptability
- A positive 'can-do' attitude
- A dedicated team of consultants available 24/7 to help you with the easy onboarding process
