Job Description:

** Overview:
** This position is a full-time, tenure-track position in the Craft & Hawkins Dept of Petroleum Engineering. The incumbent in this full-time position will have a part-time teaching load of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in subjects related to Petroleum Engineering, combined with a part-time research component with the expectation to develop a recognized, externally-funded research program on topics related to modern Petroleum Engineering.

** About the Program:
** The Craft and Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering is one of the leading petroleum engineering departments in the US, and offers BS, MS and PhD degrees.  External funding for ongoing research includes support from state, federal and industry sources.  Departmental resources to support this position include the PERTT Lab, the Chevron Reservoir Characterization Laboratory, and a variety of other experimental and computational laboratories.  

University resources include a synchrotron radiation research center (CAMD) and outstanding computational resources through LSU High Performance Computing. Additionally, the State and University are investing heavily in CCUS related activities, including the above-mentioned infrastructure.## Special Instructions:
