Special Agent, $40,000 Recruitment Incentive

The U.S. Secret Service is seeking highly qualified individuals to join their team as Special Agents. This range is provided by U.S. Secret Service, with a base pay range of $48,371.00/yr - $/yr.

Applicants may be eligible for a $40,000 recruitment incentive in accordance with regulatory requirements.

As a Special Agent, duties include:

• Providing protection for various protectees.
• Conducting criminal investigations.
• Planning and implementing security designs for National Special Security Events.

To be considered, applicants must:

• Be a U.S. citizen.
• Possess a current valid driver's license.
• Carry and use a firearm, with mandatory firearm proficiency.
• Be at least 21 years old and less than 37 years old at the time of application, unless prior service in a Federal Civilian Law Enforcement position applies.
• Obtain and retain a Top Secret Clearance.
• Meet specific visual and hearing requirements.
• Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing while occupying the position.
• Complete intensive training at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) and specialized training at the James J. Rowley Training Center.
• Sign a mobility agreement stating willingness to accept assignments anywhere within the United States and overseas.
• Certify registration with the Selective Service System, if applicable.

This is an entry-level, full-time position.
