Information Technology Project Manager

Job Description

This is a full‑time position and will be 100% onsite in New Orleans, LA. We are offering a max salary of $140,000. The client is hiring a Project Manager with strong Business Analyst skills to lead IT‑driven projects and coordinate business‑side transition efforts. This role acts as the connector between business units, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth delivery and readiness across departments such as operations, customer service, finance, and shared services.

• Lead full lifecycle project management: planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting.
• Manage cross‑functional business readiness and transition activities.
• Facilitate workshops to define scope, gather requirements, and align deliverables.
• Document business processes and create readiness checklists.
• Coordinate communication between business and technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with governance, data security, and regulatory standards.
• Support cutover planning and post‑go‑live stabilization.

• 7+ years of experience in Project Management and Business Analysis.
• Strong knowledge of PM methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
• Skilled in tools such as Azure Dev Ops, MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management.
• Proven experience driving business readiness across multiple functions.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise systems.

• Experience in regulated industries (utilities, energy, etc.).
• Certifications:
  
  PMP, CSM, CAPM, PROSCI.
• Strong documentation and process mapping skills.
• Ability to work independently and align with PMO governance.
