A leading mechanical engineering contractor is looking for a Country Manager to join its dynamic team. The ideal candidate possesses experience in tank repair and construction and related sales. Communicating effectively, the new member will drive aggressive growth and profitability by developing effective business development strategies and extending the team in accordance with company procedures and customer requirements.
Salary + Additional Benefits:
- $100,000-$150,000 + Bonus

Location: New Orleans – Baton Rouge Industrial area, LA
Type of Position: Direct Hire
Responsibilities:- Acquire new, maintain, and expand existing customers and expands the team accordingly
- Create quotations and scope descriptions.
- Gather information from customers to convert to conclusive proposals.
- Responsible for administrative processing of sales activities.
- Provide input for commercial objectives.
- Transfer project awards to project management.
- Monitor and evaluate projects to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Responsible for project controls.
- Conduct internal and external evaluations on completed assignments.
- Represent the organization at trade shows, events, and social media.
- Report on progress against KPIs and commercial objectives.
- Follow safety regulations, prevent workplace accidents, and actively participate in department safety initiatives.
- Perform own work in accordance with company procedures and in accordance with customer requirements.

Requirements:- A completed college education, preferably in a commercial field
- 5+ years of experience selling a technical product
- Must have experience within the storage tank market (knowledge of API 650, 653, etc.)
- Good command of English, both oral and written;
Spanish is an advantage - The CSM works from home, New Orleans, Baton Rouge or in the New Iberia office and travels regularly to clients both nationally and internationally
