Position: Administrative Manager Assistant Director - New Orleans or Louisville

As an administrative manager, you’ll work across teams to provide the supervision, knowledge, resources and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace and support EY growth and profitability.

opportunity

You’ll develop and implement administrative strategic plans, establish and maintain performance measurements, monitor financial and operational performance, and understand the structure and business of the organization and its clients to effectively manage resources and processes. You will lead and develop individuals and teams using people management processes and tools, including staffing, training, supervising, coaching and performance management to achieve optimal performance.

Your

key responsibilities
  • Manage workflow and negotiate assignments for executive assistants based on client needs and resources.
  • Solicit ongoing feedback from customers to evaluate and coach executive assistants on their performance.
  • Set up full project plans including objectives, milestones, priorities, team, calendar and nature of deliverables.
  • Focus on potential project issues to prioritize resources, timing, quality, scope and risk.
  • Demonstrate proactive business development by initiating discussions with existing clients on possible additional work and satisfaction with current support.
  • Coordinate and assist with budget planning and operate within approved budget.
  • Meet or exceed the needs of internal clients by partnering with other groups, cultivating relationships, aligning people and processes, and identifying workplace efficiencies to add value.
  • Anticipate what customers want and follow up to ensure internal customers are completely satisfied.
  • Create a knowledge transfer culture within a team.
  • Participate in national or area projects.

To qualify for the role, you must have
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 8‑10 plus years of experience.
  • 3 plus years of experience managing people.
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.
Ideally, you’ll also have
  • Strong MS Office (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel) and various iOS and Android mobile devices.
  • Proficiency in MS SharePoint.

  • Comprehensive compensation and benefits package with a base salary range of $88,900 to $166,200 (U.S. locations). Additional benefits include medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Hybrid work model: work in person 40‑60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
