Provide occupational therapy (OT) and related services while maintaining positive interaction with facilities and clients in accordance with OT principles and Reliant Rehabilitation guidelines. Key duties include: screening and evaluation, development of initial and ongoing treatment plans, discharge planning, supervision of assistants and rehab techs, and case management responsibilities.
- Optimize patient functionality and skills through OT services
- Consult and supervise COTAs
- Directly supervise COTAs and rehab techs during group and individual treatment
- Build a strong OT program
- Enhance clinical expertise and management skills through continuous education
- Maintain valid state license and awareness of OT profession issues
- Understand payment models and provide quality care within guidelines
- Comply with infection control procedures and safety protocols
- Read, write, speak, and comprehend in English
- Graduate of an ACOTE accredited school of occupational therapy
- Active NBCOT certification
- State occupational therapist license
- Experience supervising COTAs and rehab techs
- Knowledge of OT billing and treatment guidelines
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Compliance with infection control and facility safety protocols
- Commitment to continuing professional education
