Bay Care Medical Group, the leading physician-led medical group in the Tampa area, is currently seeking a highly skilled and board-certified Gastroenterologist to join our team at Morton Plant North Bay Hospital in New Port Richey, Florida. The community has a significant demand for gastroenterology services, leading to a strong and robust referral base.
Morton Plant North Bay Hospital is the sole not-for-profit community hospital in West Pasco County. It features 141 acute care beds and offers a wide range of specialty services, including Gastroenterology, Heart and Vascular, Imaging, Surgery, Neurosciences, and more. The hospital has recently undergone extensive renovations to cater to the growing healthcare needs of our community.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
- ERCP training and experience is a plus, but not required.
- Inpatient call duties will be shared on a rotation of 14, comprising of two Bay Care Medical Group employed physicians and two community physicians.
- We are a supportive healthcare system with a substantial referral base, ensuring ample opportunities for professional growth and success.
- Experienced candidates are encouraged to apply and contribute their expertise to further enhance our services in our community.
Requirements
- Board Certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) in Gastroenterology
- Ability to hold an unrestricted Florida Medical License
