Pro Sidian seeks a Field Geologist / Soil Scientist | Subsurface Characterization & Soil Analysis (PCBOCC
0039038) for program support on an exempt 1099 contract basis located CONUS - Pasco County, across the South East Region, supporting Pasco County utilities and water systems through engineering, planning, environmental, and digital transformation services.

We are seeking candidates with relevant Energy, Sustainability & Infrastructure sector experience to support professional services engagements for clients such as PCBOCC. Roles may be contract / W-2 (IRS-1099) with potential conversion to full-time W-2 at Pro Sidian's discretion.

Provide geotechnical services as a Field Geologist / Soil Scientist focusing on environmental services for clients such as Pasco County Board of County Commissioners (PCBOCC) and Pasco County Utilities, generally located in CONUS - Pasco County and across the South East Region.

• Conduct field investigations to characterize geologic and soil conditions; oversee drilling, sampling, logging, and geologic hazard assessments; support lab testing and assist engineers with data interpretation.

Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Geology, Earth Science, or Soil Science; graduate degree preferred.
• 3–7 years in field geotechnical or environmental site work.

Skills Required

• Soil classification, borehole logging, sampling protocols, GPS use, safety compliance.
• Field observation, communication, accuracy, environmental awareness.

Ancillary Details Of The Role s

• Prepare boring logs and site documentation for geotechnical reports.
• Assist in monitoring well installation and water table analysis.

Other Details

• Supports fieldwork in Categories 1, 2, and 7 for site suitability analysis.
