Serenity Hospice Care invites compassionate volunteers to join our teams across New Jersey, from facilities to home visits, and support patients, families, and their own communities.

• Administrative Volunteers
  :
  Perform clerical duties such as filing, answering phones, organizing supplies, handling mail, and supporting promotional material. Works from our office at 56 Georgetown Road, Bordentown, NJ.
• Direct Patient Volunteers
  :
  Visit patients in facilities, offer companionship, read, watch TV, talk, listen, and share your special talents (e.g., pet therapy, music, art, knitting). Volunteers are reimbursed for travel time.

• Provide heartfelt companionship to patients and families.
• Engage in conversations, reading, watching TV, or gentle touches.
• Assist with clerical tasks as needed for administrative volunteers.
• Bring a smile or a peaceful moment to each patient encounter.
• Help maintain a welcoming environment for patients and staff.
• Participate in training and orientation sessions, as required.

We work around your schedule, time, and location preferences. No prior experience is required; we will teach you everything you need to know.
