We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with strong experience in Python, Snowflake, and SQL to design and develop robust data solutions within the Snowflake Data Cloud. The role involves creating and optimizing data pipelines, models, and ETL processes while ensuring performance, security, and governance best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Create and maintain well-structured data models and schemas within Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and efficient query performance.
- Design and implement ETL/ELT processes to data into Snow from various sources.
- Build and optimize data pipelines to ingest data, ensuring accurate and timely data flow.
- Write and optimize SQL queries to enhance performance and efficiency within Snowflake.
- Identify and address performance bottlenecks, optimizing query execution and resource allocation.
- Implement data security and governance best practices, including access control and encryption.
- Maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and other Snowflake solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within Snowflake, providing technical support to users.
- Collaborate with data architects, data engineers, and business users to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Around 8 years’ experience as a Snowflake Developer, responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines, models, and ETL processes, ensuring efficient data storage, processing, and analysis.
Expertise in writing complex SQL queries, creating Python stored procedures in Snowflake, and handling intermediate-level coding challenges during assessments.
Leadership qualities to guide a team and own end-to-end project support.
Skills & Qualifications- Strong Python, Snowflake, and SQL coding skills.
- Ability to articulate real‑time experience scenarios and showcase solutions for real‑life problems.
- with data warehousing concepts and data modeling.
- Hands‑on experience creating stored procedures, functions, tables, and cursors.
- Experience in database testing, data comparison, and transformation scripting.
- Capable of troubleshooting common database issues.
- Hands‑on experience with Git Lab, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Ops tools.
- Knowledge of AWS Lambda and Azure Functions.
