We are looking for a skilled Patent Attorney to join our Cellular Standards Patenting team at Nokia Technologies. In this role, you will draft and prosecute Nokia's patent applications in the field of 3

GPP technologies, collaborating with external and internal patent attorneys worldwide. You will be at the forefront of protecting inventions contributed to 5G and 6G standard development, working closely with top researchers in the telecom industry. Your expertise in patent law and practice will contribute to building a leading, monetizable patent portfolio in cellular standards. This is a unique opportunity to join Nokia's team of patent professionals with a strong track record in high-quality patent assets used in licensing and litigation globally.

  • Draft and prosecute patent applications in-house and with external attorneys
  • Evaluate filed patent applications regularly
  • Review claim charts and collaborate to define claim scope and standards mapping
  • Work closely with the inventor community

Minimum qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics/Mathematics, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience with 3

    GPP-related patent applications and prosecution
  • Qualified European Patent Attorney, US Patent Attorney/Agent, or Indian Patent Agent
