Position Overview

We're seeking an experienced A&P Technician with a passion for avionics and maintenance to join our growing team in New Richmond, Wisconsin. This is an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, modern avionics systems, and a diverse fleet of general aviation aircraft while being part of an award-winning company that values precision, innovation, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, troubleshoot, and maintain modern avionics systems, with emphasis on Garmin integrated flight decks
  • Perform airframe modifications and panel work for avionics upgrades
  • Conduct pitot‑static and transponder inspections and certifications
  • Execute aircraft annual inspections and preventive maintenance
  • Interpret and work from wiring diagrams, installation manuals, and FAA regulations
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with FAR requirements
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their mission requirements and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Ensure all work meets or exceeds manufacturer specifications and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on aircraft maintenance experience
  • Strong electrical and electronics troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and installation manuals
  • Proficiency with basic hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and specialized aviation tools
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with avionics installations, particularly Garmin systems (G3X, GTN, GNX, G500/G600 TXi, etc.)
  • Pilot Certificate (any level)
  • Previous experience in a general aviation maintenance environment
  • Knowledge of TSO requirements and STC processes
