Position: Sr. Electrical Control Systems Engineer (P.E.)
Description Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Electrical Control Systems Engineer (P.E.). This role is hybrid Remote in Chandler, AZ. We are working directly with the hiring manager on this search assignment. Company offers a comprehensive compensation package including base salary, Annual bonus, etc.

Summary:

We are partnering with a growing engineering consulting firm seeking a Senior Electrical Control Systems Engineer (P.E.) to lead Electrical, Instrumentation & Controls (EI&C) projects supporting municipal and industrial facilities. This role will serve as a technical leader responsible for design, power system studies, automation systems, and project execution from concept through commissioning.

Responsibilities:
* Lead electrical, instrumentation, and controls system design projects.
* Electrical and Electronic Power Distribution design responsibilities in AutoCAD Electrical
* Perform power system studies including short circuit, coordination, arc flash, load flow, and motor starting analyses
* Develop and review P&IDs, control narratives, wiring diagrams, I/O lists, and related design documentation
* Design PLC, HMI, and SCADA network architectures
* Serve as Engineer of Record and provide sealed Arizona design deliverables
* Conduct QA/QC reviews and mentor junior engineers
* Support construction, startup, commissioning, RFIs, and submittal reviews Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics or similar degree.
* Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license is preferred.
* Arizona PE registration or ability to obtain through comity would be ideal
* 5+ years of electrical design and/or controls engineering experience
* Strong NEC knowledge and AutoCAD Electrical proficiency
* Experience with PLC and HMI/SCADA systems is preferred.
* Proven ability to lead projects through design and construction

Preferred:
* Experience with SKM, ETAP, or Easy Power
* Revit, Navisworks, and Bluebeam experience
* PLC/HMI programming experience
* Power Distribution design experience
* Municipal, water/wastewater, mining, industrial, utility, infrastructure, or data center project experience
* Consulting engineering background
