Senior Cleans Process Engineer

Role Overview The Senior Cleans Process Engineer will support multiple cleans processes within a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing facility. This position focuses on improving process performance, reducing operational losses, increasing yield, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate is analytical, data-driven, collaborative, and comfortable working closely with manufacturing teams in a fast-paced fab environment.

This role requires a hands-on engineer who is willing to support factory priorities, troubleshoot issues on the manufacturing floor, and work cross-functionally to solve complex process challenges.

Key Responsibilities Reduce defectivity, cycle time, and operational costs.

Improve process capability, yield, and overall factory performance.

Analyze process and equipment data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.

Troubleshoot process issues and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

Support development activities by creating process specifications and documentation.

Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other data-driven methodologies to improve performance.

Participate in capacity planning and process optimization initiatives.

Lead or participate in cross-functional continuous improvement projects.

Train and mentor team members on process best practices.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, Facilities, Equipment Engineering, and other Engineering teams.

Work with OEM and third-party vendors to support process improvements and issue resolution.

Required Qualifications

Education BS or MS degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or a related technical discipline.

Experience3-8 years of semiconductor process engineering experience preferred.

Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Candidates with less experience but strong technical aptitude, analytical skills, and a demonstrated ability to learn quickly will be considered.

Technical Skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience troubleshooting process-related issues and identifying root causes.

Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret process and equipment performance data.

Knowledge of statistical process control and continuous improvement methodologies.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to present technical information and recommendations to various audiences.

Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting cleans processes within a semiconductor manufacturing environment.

Experience working with diffusion, wet process, or related semiconductor manufacturing technologies.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.

Experience with any of the following toolsets is a plus:

Semitool SST, SAT, and RADR batch solvent cleaning systems
