About the role Builds the repeatable Kubernetes platform used to relocate and modernize containerized applications across Azure regions. The role focuses on multi-cluster AKS design, regional cluster stamps, Git Ops, workload identity, ingress, container registry, policy, observability, resilience, and operational readiness. Along the way, you will get to:[Design and implement production AKS clusters across multiple Azure regions and availability zones. Create standardized regional AKS stamps using Terraform/Bicep and automated deployment pipelines.

Implement Git Ops-based workload deployment using Flux, Argo CD, or equivalent tooling. Design node pools, autoscaling, upgrades, maintenance windows, pod disruption, scheduling, and cluster resiliency. Implement Entra Workload Identity, managed identities, Key Vault integration, CSI drivers, and secret-management patterns. Engineer ingress/egress using Application Gateway, NGINX, service mesh where applicable, and Azure Front Door/global routing integrations. Implement ACR, image pull, image governance, vulnerability scanning, and regional image availability patterns.

Build observability using Azure Monitor, Container Insights, managed Prometheus/Grafana, Open Telemetry, and log aggregation. Support workload migration, Helm modernization, persistent storage decisions, configuration externalization, and regional portability. Troubleshoot production Kubernetes networking, DNS, identity, scaling, storage, and deployment failures. Be AmbITious:

What we’re looking for
10+ years of software engineering experience, including designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems in cloud-native environments. Expert-level proficiency in Go (Golang) with a strong background building microservices, APIs, and highly available backend platforms. Deep experience designing, deploying, and operating Kubernetes environments, including cluster architecture, networking, security, observability, autoscaling, and production support. Relevant technologies frequently include AKS, Helm, Git Ops, and containerized workloads.  

Extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including services such as AKS, Azure Networking, Azure Storage, Azure Dev Ops, Azure Monitor, and cloud infrastructure automation.  Strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code and Dev Ops practices using tools such as Terraform, CI/CD pipelines, Git Hub Actions, Azure Dev Ops, and Git Ops deployment models.  Proven ability to lead technical architecture decisions, establish engineering standards, mentor senior engineers, and drive the adoption of scalable, secure, and reliable cloud-native solutions.

Experience building resilient, enterprise-grade systems with a focus on security, performance, observability, disaster recovery, and operational excellence.  Strong understanding of modern software engineering practices, including distributed systems design, event-driven architectures, API development, and cloud security best practices.  

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with service mesh technologies, Kubernetes operators, and platform engineering initiatives. Knowledge of Azure security and identity services, including Entra , RBAC, and workload identities. Experience supporting AI/ML, data, or high-throughput SaaS workloads in Kubernetes environments.
