We are seeking dedicated and highly skilled Emergency Medicine Physicians to provide exceptional care at our dynamic hospital. This ongoing opportunity offers a vital role in a high-volume emergency department, contributing to patient outcomes and community health. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality emergency care to a diverse patient population of all ages.
- Manage approximately 15 to 25 patients per shift, including peak seasons.
- Provide coverage in a single-coverage ER with robust support staff, including RT, Psych, Teleintensivist, Ortho, Gen Surg, OB/GYN, CRNA, and mid-level providers.
- Work primarily 12-hour shifts from 07:00 to 19:00, with a mix of day and night shifts (6-8 shifts per month).
- Utilize the EPIC EMR system to document patient care effectively.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient management.
- Board-certified in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice with ED experience will also be considered.
- Valid state medical license in Minnesota or adjacent states (license required by start date).
- DEA certification.
- Certifications in ACLS, PALS, and ATLS or CALS.
- Demonstrated experience in community hospital settings.
- Ability to handle a high-volume, fast-paced ER environment.
Skills:
- Prior experience working in Minnesota or nearby states.
- Additional training or certifications in advanced emergency procedures.
- Fluency in multiple languages to assist diverse patient populations.
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Active board certification in Emergency Medicine.
- Proven experience at community hospitals managing large patient volumes.
- Local candidates only; no travel or lodging reimbursements.
- Credentialing process typically takes 60-90 days.
- Must successfully complete all standard credentialing and compliance requirements.
- Competitive hourly pay rate of $314.93.
