* Job Description:

** Provides services to patients that are amenable to treatment with this modality. Documents care provided and communicates with referral sources and other treating providers as needed.

** Principle Responsibilities
*** Provides patient care.  + Develop, implement and evaluate the patient plan of care based on individual needs including age specific and learning style needs.  + Documents patient information and outcome specific care provided.  + Educates patient and families as needed regarding treatment and follow through.
* Facilitates collaborative relationships.  + Coordinates with the interdisciplinary team to enhance patient care.  + Participate on quality improvement initiatives, research projects or other initiatives as needed.  + Promote the goals and vision of Acupuncture as requested.
* Other duties as assigned.
** Required Qualifications
*** Vocational or Technical Training - M.S. and/or M.O.M from an accredited institution
* 2+ years in acupuncture
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Minimum of 2 years in a hospital or medical clinic based environment
** Licenses/Certifications
*** Must meet at least ONE of the requirements below:

• BLS certification from the American Heart Association    
• BLS certification from the American Red Cross    
• Allina in-house BLS training (within 30 days of hire)
* Minnesota Acupuncture License upon hire required
* National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine upon hire required
** Physical Demands
*** Light Work:
* Lifting weight Up to 20 lbs. occasionally, Up to 10 lbs. frequently
** Pay Range**### Pay Range: $46.42 to $64.22 per hour### The pay described reflects the base hiring pay range. Your starting rate would depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable). Shift, weekend and/or other differentials may be available to increase your pay rate for certain shifts or work.
