Line Tech Lead by KHMS definition is a department maintenance Trio member. Trio partners with Production Supervisor, Continuous Improvement Leads and the Maintenance Lead to provide tools and systems that drive engagement, performance, and a zero loss state. The Lead ensures maintenance and repair work is completed safely, effectively and in a timely manner, assists with technical issues, inspects work, analyzes parts, and supports load leveling of PMs.

• Attend daily DPM meetings and direct daily huddle & workflow
• Prepare and prioritize weekly maintenance schedules in conjunction with Planner
• Support deployment and continuous improvement of KHMS requirements, including 5S, DMS, and centerline/CIL PMs
• Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFAs) and 5W‑1H
• Facilitate Line Tech shift handoff meetings and review shift reports
• Recruit, train, and develop maintenance Line Technicians
• Inspect equipment periodically and update PMs to ensure completion/audit of repairs
• Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
• Coordinate projects (equipment/mechanical & formulation/R&D) and assist with departmental budget estimates
• Maintain adherence to quality, health and safety regulations
• Backup area Planner during vacation and provide weekend/shift coverage as needed
• Assist Facility Operations Supervisor and Management with training, defect handling, and 52‑week plan execution
• Perform other related duties as assigned by Production Manager

• High School Diploma or GED required
• At least five years of maintenance experience
• Certified in LOTO
• Experience operating forklift, scissor lift, and JLG
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to plan maintenance schedules and communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and CMMS (preferably SAP PM)
• Team‑oriented mindset and ability to work in a plant environment

• Frequent standing and walking
• Prolonged work on feet with tools and repetitive actions (bending/stooping)
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

• Operate forklift, scissor lift, JLG
• Member of Plant ERT Team
• Proficiency with CMMS (preferably SAP PM)
