Salary in accordance applicable experience, ranging from $60,000 to $74,000 per year.

As the Technical Estimator at RVI, your primary responsibility will be to provide the sales department with estimates and technical support.

• Prepare estimates by utilizing blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
• Determine accuracy and completeness of information provided.
• Maintain information in a structured and organized manner.
• Identify labor, material, and time requirements.
• Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
• Maintain accurate estimating tools and update as needed.
• Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data.
• Continually update technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
• Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed for meeting and/or exceeding goals and strategies.

• Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and word processing programs.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
• Ability to coordinate and work independently.
• Knowledge of CAD software and/or other engineering software.
• Experience with Zuken or similar electrical design software preferred.
• Ability to meet critical timelines for responses.
• Ability to communicate professionally and technically with client contacts.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Associate's degree or two-year college or technical school.
• 2+ years of related experience.

Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
