Salary in accordance applicable experience, ranging from $60,000 to $74,000 per year.

As the Technical Estimator at RVI, your primary responsibility will be to provide the sales department with estimates and technical support.
Responsibilities- Prepare estimates by utilizing blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Determine accuracy and completeness of information provided.
- Maintain information in a structured and organized manner.
- Identify labor, material, and time requirements.
- Present prepared estimates by assembling and displaying numerical and descriptive information.
- Maintain accurate estimating tools and update as needed.
- Maintain cost database by entering and backing up data.
- Continually update technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing technical publications.
- Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed for meeting and/or exceeding goals and strategies.
- Working knowledge of Excel spreadsheets and word processing programs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
- Ability to coordinate and work independently.
- Knowledge of CAD software and/or other engineering software.
- Experience with Zuken or similar electrical design software preferred.
- Ability to meet critical timelines for responses.
- Ability to communicate professionally and technically with client contacts.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Associate's degree or two-year college or technical school.
- 2+ years of related experience.
Any combination of education and experience that would provide the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be acceptable.
