Overview

Audit Supervisor – CBIZ Inc. – New York, NY

• Supervise all aspects of accounting, tax or audit engagements for clients, providing status updates to engagement managers and adhering to all quality control standards
• Develop a thorough understanding of client business to contribute to analysis and planning of engagements
• Manage engagement budget constraints, complete tasks within requested time, and explain variances when needed
• Achieve charge hour goals and review team work, providing constructive review points
• Guide and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
• Assist in client billing process with Managers, Directors or Managing Directors
• Identify an industry or area of specialization and develop expertise in that area
• Leverage industry knowledge and business acumen to blend cross‑service opportunities into client engagements
• Participate in practice development activities, such as membership in qualified organizations, to refer potential engagements
• Execute administrative duties as assigned

• Bachelor’s degree required;
  Master’s degree preferred in Accounting, Taxation or related field
• At least 3 years of experience in public accounting or related field
• 1 year supervisory experience preferred
• CPA candidates preferred
• Ability to manage deadlines and prioritize multiple assignments
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills throughout all levels of organization
• Proficient use of applicable technology
• Must be able to travel based on client and business needs
