Junior Tax Accounting Position Available (Full Time)
Shomer Shabbos CPA firm located in Midwood seeks a responsible individual for immediate hire.
Requirements- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Good verbal and written skills
- Ability to multitask
- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of Quickbooks a plus
- Assist with preparation, processing and filing of individual and business tax and informational returns
- Communicate with clients to request and gather necessary tax related documents
- Data entry and reconciling information received to the general ledger
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on the closing process, including adjusting entries and financial statements
- Support senior tax professionals in handling client and or government correspondence
- Assist with tax planning and compliance for clients
- Maintain client and office database, logs and records
- Assist with office billings, receivables and payables
No prior experience necessary. On the job training will be provided.
