Tax Associate - Family Office

Base pay range

$107,100 - $144,900

• Assist with tax compliance for all U.S., state, local, and international returns for family members and related entities.
• Coordinate with tax service providers and monitor tax calendar deadlines to ensure timely filings.
• Gather information for federal, state, and local individual, nonresident, and entity returns, including multi‑state returns for ultra‑high net worth individuals.
• Collect data for foreign filings and disclosures (8858, 8865, 8621, 5471, 5472, 3520).
• Manage books for foreign‑owned U.S. entities.
• Assist with tax projections and review general ledgers for family members and related entities.
• Conduct research on tax implications of prospective transactions, charitable giving strategy, disposition of investments, and other significant events.
• Support tax notices, audits, and memoranda.
• Collaborate with Tax Directors on tax planning, strategy, and compliance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA, Master’s, or EA designation is a plus.
• 4+ years of high net worth/individual tax and accounting experience within a public accounting firm or family office.
• International tax experience with trust/estate exposure preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint;
  Quick Books experience ideal.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
