Senior Auditor
New York, NY
Responsibilities- Lead audit engagements from planning through completion for a variety of clients.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor junior staff and interns, providing feedback and guidance throughout engagements.
- Perform risk assessments and develop audit plans.
- Review work papers prepared by staff to ensure accuracy and compliance with firm policies.
- Conduct analytical procedures to identify and resolve accounting and auditing issues.
- Prepare clear, concise, and well‑organized audit documentation and deliverables.
- Communicate audit findings, recommendations, and progress to managers & partners.
- CPA license or actively pursuing CPA certification preferred.
- Strong technical knowledge of GAAP, GAAS, and related auditing standards.
