The ideal candidates possess a results-driven work ethic as well as the desire to coach our small business clients on big decisions during their US expansion. This self-motivated professional is excited to directly interact and consult with business entrepreneurs and their management teams, can effectively manage a portfolio of clients, provides a high level of client service while meeting each client’s required tax compliance needs, and is able to work autonomously as well as part of a remote team.

  • Prepare and review individual tax returns
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with and develop trusted and transparent relationships with clients across time zones.
  • Manage multiple deadline-driven projects simultaneously while working independently as well as within a group environment and possess a team-focused and big picture mentality.
  • Professional presence, client service skills and ability to act as primary contact on assigned engagements.
  • Results-driven, self-motivated work ethic
    • Support, train and mentor reporting staff to ensure quality of work and process efficiencies.
    • Contribute to and foster DY USA’s core values.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
  • CPA with a minimum of 4 years experience in public accounting with an emphasis on tax.
  • International experience is a plus, but not required. Your genuine interest in engaging with transatlantic clients new to the US tax system and business startup issues is more important to us.
  • High energy, organized, results-driven and self-motivated personality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively explain technical US tax concepts and solutions to international business owners and staff.
  • Strong use of technology including Excel, Office, Zoom and tax preparation software. Experience with CCH Axcess is preferred but not required.
