Position ProfileA Tax Senior Manager provides federal tax compliance and planning services to high‑net‑worth individual clients and privately‑held businesses. The role works closely with firm leadership and plays a key part in business development and team development. The ideal candidate is a CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning, and consulting at a public accounting firm.
Qualifications – Required- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- CPA with 7+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, planning and consulting at a public accounting firm with a focus on high‑net‑worth individuals, privately owned businesses, investment partnerships, estates, and trusts
- Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- Technical knowledge sufficient to sell and execute engagements in multiple industries
- Proven ability to manage, mentor, and develop staff
- Strong relationship management and practice development skills
- Ability to attract and service new clients and expand services to existing clients
Estimated compensation range: $141,000‑$290,000 (California, Maryland, New Jersey, and New York metropolitan areas). Compensation is based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Additional time off: 56 hours of sick leave, 11 holidays, and 2 scheduled recharge days.
