Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional individual to join our client's team as Clerical Assistant. This position provides essential clerical and administrative support, requiring strong organizational skills, exceptional customer service, and the ability to collaborate effectively with staff, patients, and executive leadership.
Job Description
- Perform clerical duties including filing, data entry, reception work, scheduling meetings, preparing correspondence, and indexing documents.
- Operate office equipment such as fax machines, computers, and photocopiers.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency with a minimum typing speed of 50 keystrokes per minute.
- Utilize Microsoft Office applications at an intermediate level.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
- Liaise professionally with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare staff.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with patients throughout the day.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Prior medical office experience and knowledge of medical terminology are preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED required; college coursework or degree preferred.
- Schedule Notes: 7 :00 AM-3:00 PM
- Up to $26.00 per hour depending on experience
