Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm or 9am - 5pm
Compensation

$45 - $50/hour (Dependent on Experience)
Health Insurance stipend offered after 6 months of employment

Overview

A private household on the Upper East Side of Manhattan is seeking an experienced, meticulous, and proactive Executive Housekeeper to manage the daily upkeep of a newly built, six-story luxury townhouse equipped with both elevator and stair access. This role requires exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, experience caring for fine furnishings, and the ability to independently manage household operations, inventory, and vendors.

The home includes three cats, and comfort working in a pet-friendly environment is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Housekeeping & Cleaning
  • Perform daily, detailed, and deep housekeeping throughout a six-story residence, utilizing both elevator and stairs as needed
  • Maintain pristine condition of high-end furniture, luxury materials, and delicate finishes
  • Uphold exceptionally high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation at all times
  • Provide light laundry support when the part-time housekeeper/laundress is off
  • Clean and maintain cat litter boxes as needed
Household Management
  • Maintain accurate inventory of household supplies and cleaning products
  • Purchase, restock, and organize household and cleaning items
  • Order supplies through Amazon and other approved vendors
  • Proactively identify household maintenance issues and communicate concerns
Vendor & Contractor Oversight
  • Contact appropriate contractors when household issues arise
  • Schedule, oversee, and manage contractors while work is being performed in the home
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Prior experience as an Executive Housekeeper or senior-level housekeeper in a luxury private residence
  • Extremely detail-oriented with a strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
  • Experience working around fine furniture, high-end finishes, and luxury materials
  • Comfortable working in a home with three cats
  • Highly organized, proactive, and capable of managing household needs independently
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
  • Comfortable using online ordering platforms such as Amazon
  • Physically able to manage a multi-level home with both stairs and elevator access
