Director of Investor Relations & Corporate Development
Compensation: $175,000 - $225,000 / year
Location: Manhattan, New York
Precision Neuroscience is pioneering a brain‑computer interface (BCI) to restore communication and independence for people with neurological conditions. As a fast‑moving, well‑capitalized company, Precision has secured over $155 million in funding, validated its technology, and initiated human trials.
Responsibilities- Develop and execute an investor‑relations strategy aligned with corporate goals and enhance the company’s reputation in the financial community.
- Craft and maintain a compelling investment narrative and serve as a key contributor to external messaging.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the investment community, fostering strong relationships with current and potential investors.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in investor outreach, meetings, diligence responses, and other investor activities.
- Conduct in‑depth market analysis, competitive intelligence, and landscape assessments to identify key industry trends, risks, and opportunities in BCI and neurotechnology.
- Identify and evaluate new growth opportunities, including potential M&A, strategic partnerships, joint ventures, and new market entry.
- Develop comprehensive business cases and financial models for strategic initiatives to support executive and board‑level decision‑making.
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in corporate strategy, investor relations, investment banking, equity research, or management consulting.
- Direct experience in biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences; familiarity with neurotechnology is a significant plus.
- Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to distill complex scientific and financial information into concise, compelling messages for diverse audiences.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills, multi‑tasking under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate across departments and with senior leadership.
- Strategic, critical thinker with deep business acumen and ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.
- Proactive, self‑motivated, thriving in a fast‑paced, dynamic, mission‑driven startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Life Sciences, or related field; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.
