Position: Sales Account Executive – (2 openings) — E-commerce SaaS

Sales Account Executive

New York City, NY (Hybrid)

Salary: $80-90K base + $80-90K OTE, with uncapped commission

Planning which automates demand forecasting and replenishment recommendations by SKU and location

Purchasing which turns recommendations into POs, emails suppliers, tracks ETAs and receipts

Sales Continuity
which enables backorders with accurate delivery-date messaging at PDP, cart and checkout

Operations & Integrations which syncs inventory, locations and rules across e-commerce platforms, 3PL/WMS, ERP and accounting

Key Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: cold outbound → discovery → multi-threaded pitch → close → handoff.
  • Work with SDR to grow pipeline.
  • Target the right brands: focus on DTC/e-commerce companies doing $10M–$100M GMV with multi-location inventory and real supplier complexity.
  • Sell Tightly’s core value: AI-driven demand & replenishment, automated POs & supplier comms, and backorders with real delivery dates—driving higher in-stock %, faster turns, and better cash.
  • Multi-thread effectively: engage Founder/CEO, COO/Head of Ops, Supply Chain, and Finance to build business cases and clear next steps.
  • Tight feedback loops: partner with founders, Product, and Marketing to relay insights that improve positioning and roadmap.
  • Operate by the numbers: document outreach, pipe, and progress in Hub Spot with clean, current data.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years closing new business in SaaS (preferably supply chain/ops/commerce) or adjacent tech.
  • Consistent quota-beater in outbound-heavy roles.
  • Consultative, rigorous discovery with strong qualification instincts (
    BANT
    , MEDDIC/MEDDPICC); you create urgency and control timelines.
  • Thrive in early-stage—build pipeline from zero, iterate fast, and close net-new logos.
  • Willing to hustle: cold outreach, networking, NYC events, and community meetups.
  • NYC-based; in-office 3-5 days/week (Midtown Manhattan).

Nice to Have

  • Experience with demand planning, inventory planning/OTB, POs, supplier ETAs, or backorders/delivery-date messaging.
  • Fluency in the e-commerce ops stack: platforms (Shopify/Big Commerce/Magento), 3PL/WMS, ERP (Net Suite/Dynamics), and accounting.
  • Sold into COO/Head of Ops/VP Supply Chain/Founder personas.
  • Hands-on with 3PL/WMS integrations, EDI, or ERP workflows.
  • Prior startup, agency, or high-growth environment experience.
  • Familiarity with ROI models tied to in-stock %, inventory turns, working capital, and PO cycle time.

Compensation

  • $100K base + $100K OTE ,
    uncapped commission

  • Full-time, on-site in Midtown Manhattan with a high-energy, ambitious team.
  • Actual compensation may vary based on skills and experience.
