Overview

Our client, an established financial firm with over $30 billion in investment management, is looking for a Business Systems Analyst to join the team and assist with the transition to Advent Geneva.

The BSA is responsible for ensuring all stakeholders, in the front, middle and back-office are able to take advantage of capabilities. The position will bridge the gap between business needs and technical capabilities with Advent Geneva.

• Collaborate with internal and external groups to analyze and document software features, platform capabilities, and processes
• Perform detailed data analysis working with the Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, Operations, and Risk teams
• Create user stories, define acceptance criteria, review test plans and cases
• Provide user support to Fund Accounting, Investor Relations, Portfolio and Credit Administration and Risk
• Perform data governance and data modeling between various systems
• Use SQL, Python, APIs, etc. for data on internal and external reports
• Collaborate with the analytics team to source data sources for consumption
• Partner with external consultants to perform various system implementation tasks

• 6+ years of Business Systems Analyst experience
• Extensive experience with Advent Geneva required
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment products, and buy-side workflows like equity research, trading, portfolio management
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum framework
• Experience working with loan IBOR, Portfolio Management, and Performance systems
• Technical proficiency with Azure Dev Ops, JIRA, Confluence, Visio/Figma, SQL, BI tools, CRM platforms, and Rest APIs
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
