Position Summary

Children's Aid College Prep seeks dynamic, talented Group Leaders to incorporate compassion and exemplary instructional practices and monitoring, work hard to meet the high-accountability demands and help scholars in a small group setting to learn and have fun in an after-school programming setting.

Essential Duties
  • Monitor and support scholars with homework.
  • Perform all required additional duties for the success of the program.
  • Meet and transition scholars from class to designated programming spaces.
  • Create a classroom environment that is conducive to learning and supportive of student needs.
  • Take all necessary and reasonable precautions to protect students, equipment, materials and facilities.
  • Adhere to and implement all safety and health procedures, protocols, and guidelines as outlined in CACPCS Reopening Plan.
  • Work collaboratively with parents/guardians, families and other members of the community.
  • Ensure students are engaged through activities that accommodate various learning styles and needs.
Minimum Qualifications
  • HS diploma/GED with 2+ years of experience working with youth.

  • Ability to navigate different forms of technology with hybrid learning and participation in instructional technology training to support the necessary development of skills to build capacity.

Education

High School (required)

Experience
